WordPress Tutorial- How to Hide Gravatar Image in Blog Comment Area

This tutorial will tell you how easily you can remove or hide the default Gravatar image from your blog comments. By default, a Gravatar image will be shown near the name of all commenter in wordpress blog.

As a Blog Owner, If you want to disable the feature of showing gravatar images of users who are commenting on your blog posts, simply navigate to discussion tab under settings. Login to your wordpress admin area, navigate to settings from left menu then select discussion option ( 4th Option) and it will open a new page like shown in the following screenshot.

Scroll down towards the page and you will get an option of Avatar. By Default, show avatar option is select. Now, Select Don’t show Avatar option just above this option as shown in the above screenshot and save your settings.

Now, Open any post of your blog which have comments from users. This time you will not get any user avatar in your post. To revert back, undo the settings. Just Select show avatar option and save your changes and it will show the avatars again.
