How to Enable New Priority Inbox in Gmail

Some of you might not see the New Priority Inbox Link on the top right side in your Gmail Account after login into your account. No need to worry about that. You can manually activate this feature in your Gmail Account. Go to this Official Gmail Priority Link then Click on Go to Gmail Button on right side. After Clicking on this link, it will ask you to login into your Gmail Account. After Successful login, it will redirect you to settings page for Inbox Priority feature then save the settings as shown in the figure.

After you have enabled this feature in your Gmail, switch to your inbox. You will see your emails categorized in three new categories, named as Important and Unread, Starred and Everything else .

In starred section, You will see only Important email lists. Starred section will contain those emails which is marked as starred by you and rest all emails will be stored in third section.

So, If you want to make some emails to important email, then just select those emails and click on + plus symbol near delete button on top. They will be moved in first category and those which is less important you can make it as starred and rest all will be shown in the third category. You can click on – negative button also, if you want to demote top emails.
